Yay, I finally found her!

For the last twelve years, I've either been thinking about, or been searching for, a friend who moved back to new Zealand when she and i were nine years old. i just found her on facebook this afternoon. My Gosh, i was elated. and, she remembers me. *smile* I just hope we can see each other at some point in the near future when i'm not busy cramming schoolwork.

Woohoo, glad to hear this. Isn't Facebook wonderful for reconnecting with friends you haven't talked to in years? I've done that a bit myself. Hope you get to see her, too.

I'm amazed at the number of people I've found on Facebook. I suspect I'm probably not done finding people I know there.

Brilliant Joanne. I found an old friend of mine, Catherine, on FriendsReunited in June of last year and she still remembers me from oo, a good 13 years back since I moved both home and school in the mid 1990s. In fact, when I last saw her, my cousin, now nearly 15, was tiny. Mum had been left holding the baby, literally and we were all at my Grandparents. Speaking of finding people, just minutes ago, I found someone I went to elementary school with who has been a Zoner for a couple of years.

Personally, although I do have a facebook account, I use Myspace because I just can't seem to get the hag of Facebook. When I click on a link I never get the feeling it did anythin. Bt since joining Myspace three years ago I have reconnected with a few High School friends (my High School reunion is this year and I probably won't be able to attend), and even one guy I knew back in grade school.
